What size Dog Pod does a Staffordshire Bull Terrier need?Updated 2 hours ago
We’ve had plenty of Staffordshire Bull Terriers comfortably travel in our Original size Travel Dog Pod, and it’s a great fit for most.
Although Staffies are known for their stocky, muscular build, their actual body size fits very well within the Original Pod’s footprint. They tend to settle in, sink into the padding, and snooze the journey away.
What size is best?
Most Staffies weigh between 13–18kg, and the Original Pod supports this range without feeling cramped.
The largest Staffy we’ve had in the Pod was around 20kg, and they still had room to lie down comfortably and drift off to sleep.
Travel vs. Home Use
As a car seat, the Original Pod is a perfect fit — snug enough to feel secure, but roomy enough for your dog to relax and settle.
However, if you’re thinking of using it as a permanent bed at home, you may want to consider something slightly larger (like our upcoming XL Pod) for more space to stretch out.
Final recommendation
If you’re using the Pod for car travel only, we confidently recommend the Original size for your Staffy.
If your dog is particularly large for the breed, or if you want them to have a little more wiggle room, feel free to drop us a message — we’ll be happy to help guide you.
