What are the hooks for on the bottom of the Dog Pod?Updated 20 hours ago

Great question — they serve two helpful purposes, depending on which part of the Pod you’re looking at.

1. Fold-Down Front Wall – For Open Viewing

If you’re looking at the front edge of the Pod, you’ll notice two small hooks near the base. These work with the metal D-rings on the front wall to allow you to fold the wall down neatly.

This gives your dog a clearer view and a more open, connected travel experience.

To fold the wall down:

    •    Locate the small hooks at the base of the front wall

    •    Trace directly upward to find the metal D-rings

    •    Clip the D-rings onto the hooks below

This will hold the wall in a folded position so your dog can sit up and look around. Want a cosier, den-like space? Just leave the wall upright.

2. Isofix Hooks – For Safer, Easier Setup

If you’re looking at the rear of the Pod, you’ll find two large metal hooks. These are Isofix-compatible and designed to clip into your vehicle’s Isofix points.

They help secure the Pod without needing to drop your seat forward or feed straps behind.

Why it matters:

    •    Faster to install and remove

    •    More stable ride for your dog

    •    Extra peace of mind, especially if you move the Pod between cars

Need help setting either of these up? Just reach out — we’re always happy to assist.
