Can I Car Harness That Clips into the Seatbelt with the Travel Pod?Updated 21 hours ago

Yes — many of our customers prefer to use their own harnesses that plug directly into the car’s seatbelt buckle. 

This setup is compatible with the Pod, but there are a couple of things to note:

🔒 No Built-in Seatbelt Slot

The Pod does not have a dedicated opening or pass-through for seatbelt-style harnesses.
If you use one, the seatbelt strap will need to be draped over the side of the Dog Pod.

This means your dog won’t be secured directly from the centre of the Pod, which means they could essentially step out of the Pod if they wanted to.

✅ It Still Works

As long as your dog’s harness fits well and limits excess movement, this setup can still work safely and comfortably for many breeds. Some customers even prefer it for flexibility between vehicles.
